Henry Reeves has served since 2001 as the Director of the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center (SV SBDC) and Executive Director of the Central VA Region with offices at James Madison University (JMU) in Harrisonburg, VA. Prior to joining the SBDC he owned and operated a software development company in Charlottesville, VA that developed accounting software for the utility industry.

The SV SBDC is part of a nationwide network of more than 1,000 offices, funded by the U.S. Small Business Administration and local colleges, universities, and Chambers of Commerce, that help entrepreneurs start and grow businesses. The center's mission is to "advise, train, and inform small businesses to help them achieve success".

Henry also teaches accounting classes at JMU and QuickBooks at Blue Ridge Community College in Verona, VA. He has helped many small businesses get started with QuickBooks and teaches QuickBooks for Contractors and QuickBooks for Nonprofits. He has a BSEE/CS and an MBA degree from the University of California at Berkeley, is a Certified QuickBooks Advisor and also a licensed C.P.A. in Virginia.
